Install Problems

Hi, System: RedHat 6.1 on i386 After configuring php4 with the following: ./configure --with-ldap=/usr --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apache=../ apache_1.3.12 --enable-track-vars and then running 'make', I always end up with this: gd.c: In function `php_if_imagecreatefromgif': gd.c:500: `gdImageCreateFromGif' undeclared (first use in this function) gd.c:500: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once gd.c:500: for each function it appears in.) gd.c: In function `php_if_imagegif': gd.c:657: `gdImageGif' undeclared (first use in this function) make[3]: *** [gd.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/php-4.0.2/ext/gd' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/php-4.0.2/ext/gd' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/php-4.0.2/ext' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 I have also been having problems issuing "rpm --recompile <any.src.rpm.file>" so am wondering if I have a compiler problem?
