Hi!
I've been trying for the last two days to install PHP 4 on my RH 6.1
system and I've come to a dead end. I would really appreciete some help,
as I am completely out of ideas right now.
Firts I have tried to install PHP 4 as a dynamic module. Everything went
fine (well, the apxs script was broken, but after reading the FAQ, i
fixed it), apache loads fine (I get the 'configuring apache for PHP4.0.0
use, resuming normal operation' message in the error.log file) but no
scripts are being executed. Trying to execute any of them, no matter how
simple (for ex: <? phpinfo() ?>) just gives me "Internal server error"
and the error.log file reads 'Premature end of script headers'.
Then, I've tried to recompile apache and PHP as a static module.
Following the procedures from the install file, everything went right.
But the result is the same: 'Internal server error'.
What am I doing wrong???
