Hello,
I'm hoping someone has run into this problem before. I have an OpenBSD 2.7 box
that I'm trying to install php4.0.3 as a DSO module. I have no problems building
the module with the options I want. But if I include libgd and libimap
I can't even start apache, I get errors that say I'm getting undefined symbols
even though I've linked against these libs at compile time. If I dont include
support for GD or Imap I run into symbol issues with zlib and libpq
Any help would be appreciated. I'm running php4.0.2 under freebsd with no
problems.
My configure line:
./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --enable-versioning \
--with-system-regex --with-config-file-path=/usr/local/apache/conf \
--disable-debug --enable-track-vars --without-gd --disable-pear \
--with-gd=/usr/local --with-zlib --with-imap=/usr/local \
--with-pgsql=/usr/local/pgsql --with-ldap=/usr/local \
--enable-ftp --prefix=/usr/local
Some examples of errors I get:
/usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "_zlibVersion" called from
httpd:/usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so at 0x4026b174
/usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "_PQconnectdb" called from
httpd:/usr/lib/apache/modules/libphp4.so at 0x403169b4
....
-Thanks
George
