I have been following all what INSTALL file said in order to build PHP
as a dynamic module for Apache and tha only thing I had done was to edit
httpd.conf and add:
AddType application /x-httpd-php .php
and start my server with:
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
I have also put php.ini-dist where INSTALL recommend as php.ini without
modifying it.
In order to examine how PHP works I wrote helloworld.php:
<html>
<body>
<?php
print "Hello, world.";
?>
</body>
</html>
and I also probed with <script language="php"> ... and I put echo
instead of print too. But when I intended to read the file by a browser
I can't see anything. Although I have added <H1> Example </H1> I could
see this message but it looks as the PHP script had never been read.
What's going wrong? What may I do?
Thank you,
Sonia
