I've just installed Windows 2000 Professional on machine and installed IIS
while I was at it. I can get PHP working on Apache really easily, but I
would like to get it working on IIS as well as I do quite a bit of ASP work
also.
I did everything the install instructions told me to in the PHP4 help file
to set it up as an ISAPI module
ie.
To use the ISAPI module, do the following:
a.. If you don't want to perform HTTP Authentication using PHP, you can
(and should) skip this step. Under ISAPI Filters, add a new ISAPI filter.
Use PHP as the filter name, and supply a path to the php4isapi.dll.
b.. Under 'Home Directory', click on the 'Configuration' button. Add a new
entry to the Application Mappings. Use the path to the php4isapi.dll as the
Executable, supply .php as the extension, leave Method exclusions blank, and
check the Script engine checkbox.
c.. Stop IIS completely (NET STOP iisadmin)
d.. Start IIS again (NET START w3svc)
I skipped the first part, and it seemed to work fine. The site I'm
developing has an admin section, and the first time I load it, everything on
the page works fine. Once I make it into the site and exit out again, the
admin section is no longer accessible. In fact the page is served as a
blank page. As I said this all works fine on Apache, so any help would be
most appreciated.
