I'm having a little trouble building a PHP that works. If I comment out the
PHP LoadModule and AddModule lines in httpd.conf it works fine. If I
uncomment those lines and try to access a static HTM L file (root level
apache index.html) one of my httpd processes always aborts with a
segmentation fault. My browser just complains that the document contains no
data. I can run Java servlets, CGI, and mod_perl scripts just fine.
Here are the specs on my server:
Solaris 8
GNU compiler incl flex, etc.
Apache 1.3.14 incl mod_perl (static), mod_ssl (dynamic), and mod_jserv
(dynamic)
PHP 4.0.3pl1
I'm trying to compile PHP to load dynamically. I've tried various
combinations, but usually something like: "./configure
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --with-versioning"
Any suggestions, tips, etc. are greatly appreciated.
TIA,
