Hello,
I'm upgrading from php3 (which worked fine thanks,) to php4.
I use Postgresql (I come from a Mainframe background and I believe in
transaction journaling data bases.) I'm hoping that the Quick Install (DSO)
will work for me even though I'm not installing with MySQL.
I figured out that I would have to replace the
"--with-mysql" with
"--with-pgsql=/usr/lib/pgsql" (That where teh PostgreSQL install put it).
However I have no idea what to do with "--with-apxs"
I'm watching the "make" messages scroll by and I'm wondering if I'm really
screwing up...
Though since I can run with php3 right now or maybe even both concurrently,
its not desperately urgent.
What the Heck is "--with-apxs"?
