Hrm.. The --enable-libgcc was designed to work around the problem of mixed compilers/linkers on Solaris. This udivdi3 symbol should be in your libgcc library. Try poking around and adding -lgcc here and there and see if that solves it. If you figure it out let us know and we can teak the enable-libgcc to also address this on SCO. I thought we were compiling on SCO though. I know others have done it. -Rasmus On Sun, 12 Nov 2000, Hans Kind wrote: > # export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/local/lib > > takes me a little further, but now I'm getting: > > # apachectl start > Syntax error on line 238 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf: > Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server: ld.so.1: > /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: relocation error: file > /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so: symbol __udivdi3: referenced symbol > not found > > PHP is configured with --enable-libgcc > > > ./configure --with-libgcc --with-gd --with-mysql=/opt/software/mysql > > --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --enable-track-vars > --with-regex=system > > --with-config-file-path=/opt2/forez/httpd/conf > > rgds > > Hans Kind > > At 21:08 11-11-00 +0300, you wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > First of all, you better use bug database > > http://bugs.php.net for such > > messages > > or php-install@lists.php.net mailing list first. > > > >Hans Kind wrote: > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > Platform = Solaris 2.7 > > > gcc 2.95.2 > > > apache 1.3.14 > > > php 4.0 3pl1 > > > > > > ./configure --with-libgcc --with-gd --with-mysql=/opt/software/mysql > > > --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --enable-track-vars > > --with-regex=system > > > --with-config-file-path=/opt2/forez/httpd/conf > > > > > > make > > > make install > > > > > > No errors or warnings > > > > > > zlib, libpng, jpeg, freetype and gd installed without any warnings or > > errors > > > > > > --with-libgcc was used > > > > > > # apactrl start > > > Syntax error on line 238 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf: > > > Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server: ld.so.1: > > > /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: libttf.so.2: open failed: No such > > file or directory > > > ./apachectl start: httpd could not be started > > > > > > libttf.so.2 is present in /usr/local/lib > > > > > > path is set to: > > > > > > > > > > PATH=/usr/local/ssl/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/lib/nis/bin:/usr/openwin/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/etc:/opt/gnu_tools:/usr/ccs/bin:/opt/oracle/bin:/usr/5bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/lib:. > > > > > > Any suggestions?? > > > > try this: > > > ># export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/local/lib > ># apachectl start > > > > > > > > > > rgds > > > > > > Hans KInd > > > >-- > > > > With best regards, > > Kirill Maximov > > > -- > PHP Install Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) > To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-install-unsubscribe@lists.php.net > For additional commands, e-mail: php-install-help@lists.php.net > To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net >
