I have a similar problem (4.03pl with apache2.07b on slackware7.0):
php seems to be installed
basically. Simple operations are being proceeded, for example 'echo "foo";' or
simple class definitions. But there is no real function like phpinfo() or
array_push() executable; php delivers an error: Function not found ....
I am not quite shure about the php.ini location (what is described badly in my
opinion)
and which lines really need to be adapted to a local installation .
