Greetings
I am trying to install php-4.0.3.pl1.tar.gz in Slackware 7.1 in the.
/configure the following values is
./configure --enable-calendar --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql \
--with-apxs=/var/lib/apache/sbin/apxs --enable-ftp --with-pgsql=/usr/local/p
gsql \
--with-system-regex --enable-yp --with-config-file-path=/var/lib/apache/conf
So much configures seemingly as make and make install they conclude OK
I copy the file php.ini in /var/lib/apache/conf
I add to the file /etc/ld.so.conf the lines
/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql
/usr/local/pgsql/lib
I edit the file httpd.conf to adjust:
LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so
AddModule mod_php4.c
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php index.phps index.cgi
Then I stop and beginning Apache
/var/lib/apache/sbin/apachectl stop
/var/lib/apache/sbin/apachectl start
look Apache mind it begins without problems
I create the file info.php that contains
<?php phpinfo (); ?> or <? phpinfo (); ?>
But when trying to see the file info.php with Netscape 4.7 this it fails, is
the only thing that is possible to see the content of the file" <?php
phpinfo (); ?>." The content generated by the function phpinfo(); doesn't
take place
Please do indicate me somebody that this wrong?
Thank you...
