Right, I've been at this all day, time to cry for help.
PHP has been installed and running for some time now, but I have installed
a new version of Apache, so I need to recompile it.
Now, when I run the configure script, it seems to get stuck in an infinite
loop, saying
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
until I forceably stop it.
The previous few lines it writes are: -
Generating files
checking for working mkdir -p... (cached) yes
creating config_vars.mk
creating ./config.status
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
etc.
It worked before! What might have changed?
