Hi all, Firstly, I apologize if this is too off topic. However since I believe I saw a similar thread here and am desparate... I have a very odd problem on a stock Mandrake Linux 8.2 installation... everything is as installed without modification except for the following 3 packages (which were kindly sent to me from A. Moloksher): freetds-0.53.1-1mdk freetds-devel-0.53.1-1mdk php-sybase-4.1.2-1mdk Connection to a MS SQL 2000 or MS SQL 7 server work as does the db select. ANY query whatsoever produces a core dump (listed below). I've tried queries and stored procedure calls to the same result. (I show a console session below but the effect is the same through a browser.) Regardless of the database, server, query (or query format)... it does this everytime. To anyone that's using this client: Are you using this on a stock Mandrake 8.2 installation and does it work without modification? (Upgrading php and client fix this issue but break my Apache - I hate Mandrake Update and recompiling on Mandrake without fresh sources seems to be a small problem and they don't leave a configure file around that I see...) While a full fresh source recompiling might be a fix, there are many reasons I'd like it to work without doing so.
