Hi,
I am using Solaris 8 trying to compile php 4.2.1 to put into apache 1.3.26
I have on my system insalled openssl 0.9.6d - with is in the $PATH
I have also confired this doing a "which openssl" then an openssl version,
which confirms 0.9.6d
I run ./configure on php with a load of options, one of which
is --with-ssldir=/usr/local/ssl (where the 0.9.6d install lives)
and I get the following error
checking for openssl support... yes
checking for openssl version... configure error: OpenSSL version 0.9.5 or
greater required
I don't understand why I am getting this complaint ?
Any help appriciated as I need to get php working on this server soon.
Thanks,
Matt.
