Hello all ! I' ve already posted a message 2 days ago, this one is a relative .. For those interested : I had the following error : /usr/i386-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot open -lgds: No such file or directory I could compile php4.0.3 with gd with a 'piggy fashion' : I've copied /usr/local/lib/libgd.a to /usr/local/lib/libgds.a ... Of course I have no use of gd in my php scripts .. ;) --> Now I still have a problem : I try to compile php with both mysql and interbase. with apxs and mysql : everything looks good ! with apxs , mysql and interbase (--with-interbase=/usr/path/to/interbase) : configure script and compilation runs well ; but while starting apache I get this message : php-4.0.3pl1# apachectl start Syntax error on line 207 of /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/Projets/Apache_1_3_14/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: isc_dsql_execute /usr/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started So I think I'm missing someting about interbase but what ? I have downloaded interbase6, installed it : it runs well. the path seems correct. Maybe it's a missing libinterbase.a ??? ;) Best regards, Fred fdelaunay@NSS.fr
