Question:
Thanks to documentation from the likes of Beniot, I've been able to get my iPlanet
4.1/RH Linux 6.1/PHP4 NSAPI system working. The problem i'm still having is
that i'm not able to run .php scripts under my iPlanet software virtual servers.
I can run the test.php and other php scripts from the default (base) server's
document root. However, if I try and run a php script from one of my virtual
servers' document roots, the php processor always looks under the default server's
document root -- and reports that it can't find the file.
For example:
A request of www-test.myserver.com/forms/feedback.php
... should (according to my software virtual server
document root) map to: /home/www-test/forms/feedback.php
...however, i get an error saying that the php parser can't find the file
/home/www/forms/feedback.php
(that's the base server path, not the virtual server path).
I'm guessing this is a simple obj.conf issue, but I can't seem to find the answer
in any of the php mailing lists or the netscape documentation. Any help you
can provide would be much appreciated.
many thanks,
Brice
