Hey, thanks, I was researching this exact same thing. You make it appear much easier than it is. You've just saved me many months, weeks, and hours trying to figure out how to mess with the internals of the Zend Engine. For that, I am most grateful.
Also, I would love to see this in PHP, at the very least it would negate the argument of those who say PHP doesn't support anonymous functions.
