Will _you_ write such code? No. Will anybody from this list write such code?
No. Will any good PHP developer write such code? No. So why do you think
that's a problem? It would be a problem only for people writing such code, and
I think that such people will be able to do something stupid with every
syntax.
PS. Somebody might also write
$a = $b ? $c ? true : false ? true : false : true;
Does it mean, that ternary is bad? Of course not.
PS2. *I* *personally* like :: much more than : and I think, that conflicting
namespaced functions and class functions should just result in an error, as
has Vesselin Kenashkov suggested.
