It’s a shame Nikita’s Exceptions in the Engine RFC failed, as being able to do this would be
nice:
try {
$foo = (int!)$foo;
} catch (RecoverableError) {
$foo = 1;
}
Perhaps some sort of similar syntax?
(int!)$foo else 0?
