Yes, actually I'm knee-deep in porting pecl_http.
After a quick glance at the PECL package stats (of packages wchich are
not already in kind of an exclusive/external maintainance status, and
which I used to use, so maybe biased):
* imagick
* uploadprogress
* geoip
* uuid (I could jump on this one actually...)
