Simple: remove that configuration variable, and always save doc blocks.Thinking about it, you don't even need to do that, just add a structure in the opcache memory layout for the parsed annotations, allowing you to accelerate access to those. (Something you'd have to do anyway if the syntax was outside the docblock.)
