If everyone is ok with the factthis was a one time slip and there aren't going to be any other feature additions, small or big, so be it.thatI think that in order to prevent PHP 5.0 lingering to oblivion, we should set a target date for its release, that we can all work towards. About a week before it we can branch 5.1, at least for the engine andLong as it doesn't become a habbit :)the stability of RC2 and the amount of bugs that we need to sort out, I think that early July makes sense.TSRM. GivenI agree. I think that earlier in July would be better, so that we don't have to wait too much longer before we branch 5.1. Maybe July 4? :) Zeev -- PHP Internals - PHP Runtime Development Mailing List To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.phpI vote for July 17, which'll give us two months from today. Obviously this is contingent on 5.0 being suitably stable/safe, but if we all focus on bugfixes and not features, that should be doable. I'd also like to see at least three RCs between now and then.I think 3 RCs is a bit much. I doubt we need more than 1-2 more RCs. I'd like to release another RC within about a weeks time which include some Zend engine bug fixes we are working on. July 17th is fine with me although with all of the new features people want to work on, I'm not sure we need that much time. Especially if we make an extra effort in June to address as many bugs as possible.
