try to see if it gives a reasonable sorting of the mirrors for them,
furthest away at the bottom), i'd appreciate it. the closest mirrors
should be at the top of the list.
this is based on the geoip database from maxmind. (i've made a pure-php
version of the c library to access that database.)
obviously this is just geographic closeness. i think it is safe to
assume that the places where geographic closeness does not reasonably
correlate with network closeness are more rare than those where it does.
you can also check what mirror would be returned for various country
codes by add '?cc=MM' to the end, or for a specific ip by adding
'?ip=195.34.60.16'.
