As far as I know, according to http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3023.txt it
should be application/xml (as it is an XML application). RSS has no
registered separate MIME type. application/rss+xml is proposed (as
application/rdf+xml is already official), but there is no standard
distinct MIME type for RSS files right now.
