Fw: Mirror site check status report

Hi! As the mirror site check is not working for so long, I have added some mail() calls to send me mails in case of something exceptional happens. Now here is a mail I receive after the "mirror check started" mail. It seems fsockopen has some problems (maybe the machine output traffic is blocked?). Please look at this, and solve the problem as soon as you can, so the mirror check can go online again. I do not see any error I made to stop the updates...
