We don't, as of yet, have a trademark on the name, so we cannot prevent
you from doing this. But as the clause in the license states:
3. The name "PHP" must not be used to endorse or promote products
derived from this software without prior written permission. For
written permission, please contact group@php.net.
we certainly discourage people from using "PHP" in names of products.
Never really considered company names, but they fall under the same
umbrella.
Like I tell everyone who asks me about this. Please choose a name that
stands on its own merit and build your own brand instead of using ours.
