I am planning on running an unofficial mirror (primarily for local use) of
PHP.net and I have managed to get an rsync running properly with the appropriate
excludes, etc. but I can't figure out how to customize information such as the
footer credit (it displays my php URL, instead of a long name for my main site)
for the mirror and the information displayed on the /mirror.php page (it says my
site is an official mirror and in the location where it gives credit it only
displays my URL, not a text name).
Official mirror? It should display "unofficial"... By the way, we have no facility for unofficial mirrors to modify the text link. Why would you like to do that? Unofficial PHP.net mirror sites are expected to be local mirrors (most of the time at a company) where quick access is needed to content, and the footer of the site does not matter...
