Maybe this can be added to the htdig info page.
In order for htdig to compile successfully in RH 9 you need to compile
like that:
CXXFLAGS=-Wno-deprecated CPPFLAGS=-Wno-deprecated \
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/htdig
--with-cgi-bin-dir=/usr/local/htdig/bin \
--with-image-dir=/usr/local/htdig/gifs --with-image-url-prefix=/images
\
--with-search-dir=/usr/local/htdig/conf
My mirror is working OK now with local search support.
