In a previous message, James suggested that we take the top ten mirrors and begin to implement the random.php.net round-robin system. I'm all for it, but am not sure how we'd find the top ten mirrors. If the mirror list is available in a nice plain-text format (*not* XML :) I'd be happy to run it through some network metric software to help determine which are good canidates for the top ten.
OK. http://php.net/include/mirrors.inc is a listing of all mirrors. Look for the MIRROR_OK status. The mirrors without that status are not listed officialy, as they are oudated and/or unreachable. Goba
