Hello!

Yes i'm working on it now. :) Cgi frontend told me nothing about
search time. I have a half working search page, now searches
with htdig and mnogo too.
I ask mnogosearch for search time, and measure htdig with
getmicrotime() before and after exec()-ing htdig. Htdig
seems faster in searching. Htdig uses own database format,
mnogo uses mysql. Our webserver is chrooted, so can't communicate
mysql with mysql.sock, only tcp.
Place to check:

I want to test it with builtin db format too. More test, more
knowledge ;)
Charset problem:
I have an interesting experience. For indexing and storing
i choosed utf-8. Multilingual environment requires that.
The search page have to be encoded utf-8. prepend.inc
at the 14th row sets charset header to iso-8859-2. At
the top of my csearch.php i tried to override it with
utf-8 charset. Did'nt worked. I checked it with an immediate
phpinfo() after header() row, and it shows utf-8 http header
sent, and under phpinfo's tables the correct caracters displayed.
So, i removed phpinfo(), and tried to comment out the
charset-header row of prepend.inc. After that manouver
the page displayed correct english, hungarian, herbew and
russian cyrillic characters together. I tested it on netscape7
and on internet explorer too. I checked shared-manual.inc
to find out how it works, but that helped me not.
Can we modify prepend.inc to not to set default charset if
(basename($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) == 'search.php') ?
Or other ideas?
