This ?> was very much intentinally missing [as is missing from the end of (nearly) all other include files].

Some editors tend to add newlines at the end of file, and the cvs diff used for mailing is also happier if you have a newline. Since PHP allows the programmer to leave off that ending ?> it helps to be sure not to output any whitespace [before using header(), setcookie(), ....]. This is why many include files have no ?> ending, and I remove them if I see such ending ;))
