Hello everyone,
There is a problem I met:
I installed Apache 1.3.28, PHP 4.3.2 and MySQL 4.0.13
on my Solaris 9x86 enviroment as:
1. # cd /tmp/apache_1.3.28
# ./configure --enable-module=so
# make
# make install
2. # cd /tmp/php-4.3.2
# ./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs
# make
# make install
# cp -p php.ini-dist /usr/local/lib
3. # cd /usr/local/apache/conf
# vi httpd.conf
...
LoadModule php4_module libexec/libphp4.so
...
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
4. # /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
After PHP 4.3.2 was installed, I wrote a simple test page as:
5. /usr/local/apache/htdocs/index.html:
<html>
<head><title>Test PHP 4.3.2</title></head>
<body>
<div align=center>
<form name="KEYIN" method="post" action="test.php">
<p>Keyin:
<input type="text" name="TEST"
size=15><br><br>
<input type="submit" name="SUBMIT"
value="Submit">
<input type="reset" name="RESET"
value="Reset">
</p>
</form>
</div>
</body>
</html>
6. /usr/local/apache/htdocs/test.php
<?php
if ( empty($TEST) ) echo "Null String.<br>";
else echo $TEST."<br>";
?>
I got a null string(empty) from test.php!
The problem also appears on Apache 2.0
How can I fix the problem?
