My email and argument was just to find out the reason only. since it is somewhere odd. :( Its not question of moving one of the mirror but question of creating "Actual Mirror". And i can see one of the post by Divyank (who is also my good friend) and he has also expressed a view of allowing 3-4 mirrors in countries like India.
You know the official PHP.net mirror list is not some kind of playground for hosting companies, where they can show of their strength. Imagine one strong company hosting 10 mirrors in 4 different countries (that is more than two countries hosted by the same company in some countries). Currently there is no limitation for this, and as I can see some comments, the message is "why not allow this if the company manages the mirrors professionaly". I would be happy to see an addition to our mirroring rules to limit the mirrors allowed to be hosted by companies to one worldwide, and not more. This is without any consideration of the copmany itself. The 2 mirror per country limitation is not there for nothing. Read our reasoning on the mirror setup instructions page. We would already have more than 20 US mirrors, if we would not turn down the support offers referring to this rule. Goba
