I had personally suggested that php.net should modify the mirror policy
and allow for more mirrors in countries where the traffic so demands.
Php.net is already doing this for the US, and I am quite certain that
the webmaster team of php.net would proactively allow for more mirrors,
as soon as the need arises for the same. Directi has been maintaining
the Indian mirrors since considerable time now, and we can confidently
say that the existing load on the Indian Mirrors does not require an
additional mirror in the near future.
