Divyank;
Not meaning to be blunt but the case is that CSL Doesn't want a POP-only
Server on it's Main Servers.We Sure know about Open SSL But our vision
extends beyond that, to make our own Secure mail Protocol compatible with
IMAP. But it's not our Vision That's in the Discussion over here. let's
stick to important issues, Namely :
1. Does Php.net need an INDIA based backup mirror?
2. If yes then Which of the Contenders are capable of mirroring.
In Any case, the aim is not to argue mutually, it is to find solutions to
aid in Php Development. Neither CSL nor any of it's partners profit in
anyway. It's just to support & help a nice Project. The same Offer is open
to any nice, Worthy Open-Source initiatives that needs assistence in terms
of infrastructure.
I believe Goba got it right when he stressed the need of a back-up
infrastructure. In Any case Let us know the outcome of this discussion.
Regards
Pankaj Dikate,
[CTO-CSL Pvt.]
