It might have happened that you used some mail address, like you have done for this bug report, and you have not read the incoming mails on that address, or the note maintainer who removed your note thought that it is pointless to try and send a rejection mail to your address, as it seems to be unreal. You can find a history of actions taken on notes in the php.notes newsgroup at news.php.net (also archived at some sites, eg. phparch.com). Your notes might have been inapropriate to that manual page, or appropriate enough to integrate.
