Hello,
I work for children's BBC in the UK.
We want to bundle apache with php, mysql and other things (html editor/
image editor) and make it into a downloadable application that they can
install with one click so children can build their own website.
And so, our project is called "Build Your Own Website" and we hope that
through it, children will take their first steps in coding. And this
project might help spawn the next generation of coders!
Do you know of anyone who has attempted to do this before? And if not,
would anyone at php.net be interested in getting involved with this
project?
If you need more details please email me. I kept this email brief
deliberately as I guess you get many emails every day.
Regards,
Simon Cobb
