Hi,
Just suggest a simple fix for your multilingual website. You may have know this problem... Each time a Chinese page is shown, it's encode in Unicode automatically while the text in your system is encoded with Big5. I will have to change the encoding manually each time! It's suggested that the text be encoded in Unicode. This is easy although a bit hard to implement. However, I believe there should be some good software out there to do the job automatically for you. You may like to search for 'Big5' in bug report ID 30636.
We know about this problem, and as soon as the Chineese translators do their work, and the manual will be buildable, this will be fixed. Our build system generates utf8 manuals now. Regards, Gabor Hojtsy
