I tried the search, my suggestions: Honor the language set in my.php.net or last seen language, when searching for function names in "online documentation"? For example I tried mysql_real_escape_string, with prefered lang en. I expect to get only manual page results in englsh, not el, sk, ....;-) This would limit the hits, and the result more relevant.

For this to work we really need to specify the language of the manual pages in a header at the top. Otherwise the search engine has to guess, or worse, we need to manually filter the results. We know the language when we generate the page, so it makes sense to tip off the search engine. Sometimes it is really hard for it to guess because a page may only have a couple of non-English words followed by lots of English in the notes.

I would like to set the number of results displayed per page, via my.php.net.

That sounds like a good idea. -Rasmus
