New Comment:
This bug has been fixed in CVS. Since the websites are not directly
updated from the CVS server, the fix might need some time to spread
across the globe to all mirror sites, including PHP.net itself.
Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP.net better.
Removed register_globals from our mirroring guidelines as
it isn't needed anymore (and hasn't for a while now).

Oh the irony of saying "register_globals is almost gone" when the page
your posting stuff on is acctually using register_globals :)

I have fixed the search page and cal.php to not depend on
register_globals, but there may still be very few places where register
globals is used. I don't know of any currently though.

I removed register_globals from Apache config and everything seemed to
work ok.
Closing bug.

I was working on this staff the last days, and I am getting confident
that there are very few pages left (if any) which depend on
register_globals. It would be nice if you would be able to check and
report on it ;)

I am on this. But it is a slow process...
