web page error

Hello, http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.ldap.php This pages suggests as a Windows person I want the *.dll files in the Windows directory. Your Windows installation software says no, I should keep them in the php directory. The time stamp says this file was updated today no less so I am wondering which is the real answer. I am a beginner and trying to get ldap SASL working. Ldap (without SASL) ver 5.1.2 worked, but I don't want to break it upgrading to 5.2.1. I hope you were the right one to send web page changes to and not the bug group. My apologies if I got this wrong and thank you for the wonderful site.
