Hi,
My name is Paul Katz, the primary developer at
paksoft-productions.com. We've been working on the next version of
our XHTML editor, Hypertext Builder.
While our current version contains a list of PHP functions that link
directly to the reference materials on php.net, we are looking to
offer our users a more complete tool for PHP development.
Currently our prototype has popup list functionality for PHP
functions (a list is generated as the function is typed in). We are
interested in adding more authoring functionality, and would greatly
value your input. We would like to send you our prototype to play
around with. Any development ideas you come up with would be
extremely useful.
I'm also exploring various ways of making the next version of
Hypertext Builder free. As I'm now using PHP in some of my own
projects, it seems only fair I give something back. As you all have
experience with managing free software, I was wondering if you have
any advice on this (such as acquiring funds for server space, gaining
publicity, corporate sponsorships). Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul Katz
