Why is the download named this:
php-4_0_0_tar.tar
It should be named:
php-4_0_0.tar.gz
gunzip doesn't like the .tar ending. The Quick Installation instructions
at: http://uk.php.net/distributions/bigmanual.html,
assumes the file is
a .tar.gz. I had to rename it in order to get gunzip and tar to unpack
the files properly.
