OK, i've drafted this sample rss sample:

I generated it using the perl rss module
and manually removed all the namespaces and
elements that are not used. In particular I
removed the Dublin Core and Syndication
modules (and the namespace declarations) to
make it simpler. (I figured that since there
is not a RSS PHP extension it would make it
only harder for people to parse).
Please review it and send me any comments you
might have. I'll get to work on the home page
parser. If you think that any additional
information should be included in the rss file
let me know as well.
