The answer is NOT in degrees! The answer is a proportion from -1 to 1 for sin (which isn't
what this page is about anyway!). Therefore is requires no translation. Only the input needs to be
translated. Is that what you meant?
FYI (in case anybody has any doubts) the output of functions such as sin/cos/tan, log, log10, etc,
HAS NO UNITS! It, therefore, should never require any 'conversion'.
