since PHP4 and the older mysql install was quite easy. But now the whole thing lacks of support for
experienced but no admin-guru like persons. At least on XP and IIS5 there are some new hurdens to
install
1.) why the hell filenames like php.exe are dedicated to a different usage? Why ever this was
changed? So we have a system of inconsistent file naming.
2.) the php.ini has a wrong entry for the extensions path....
3.) Following all the readmes causes phpmyadmin to search not in the system path for the
php_mysql.dll - it is searched in c:\php5 but in no ini file is a hint to it.
