Re: Joachim Kruyswijk (stdClass) The manual states: “You cannot have a class named stdClass in PHP”, which is true. In your example you do not have a class named stdClass, you simply have a variable named foo which is an instantiation of the class: stdClass. The manual does not state you cannot use the class stdClass such as you did (at least not that I can see), but rather you cannot use it as a class name such as <? class stdClass { …} ?> Although of course, we would not use it any way regardless. ---- Server IP: 66.163.161.117 Probable Submitter: 69.195.8.22 ---- X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.1 required=5.0 tests=DATE_MISSING,FROM_NO_LOWER autolearn=no version=2.64 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/note/edit/63661 Del: integrated -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63661/integrated Del: useless -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63661/useless Del: bad code -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63661/bad+code Del: spam -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63661/spam Del: non-english -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63661/non-english Del: in docs -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63661/in+docs Del: other reasons-- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63661 Reject -- http://master.php.net/note/reject/63661 Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
