note 63704 added to ref.mysql

I've installed in my PC the "Apache HTTP Server 2.0.55", the "PHP 5" and also the "MySQL 5.0". I've already edited the "PHP.INI" with the information showed below: extension=php_mysql.dll mysql.allow_persistent = On mysql.max_persistent = -1 mysql.max_links = -1 mysql.default_port = 3306 mysql.default_socket = mysql.default_host = localhost mysql.default_user = root mysql.default_password = But I couldn't make the PHP code works and it shows me the next message: "Access denied for user 'SYSTEM'@'localhost' (using password: NO). The parameters of my connection are: $link = mysql_connect('localhost', 'root', 'Demo'); I've also tried through DOS command with: "MySQL -uroot -pDemo -hlocalhost" and it works with no problem. My PC's OS is: "Windows 2000 Pro SP 4". I'd like recieving some help about this and tell me what's happening or what else it needs? Thank you very much...
