Note Submitter: jeremy dot david at quasar dot com dot pe ---- I've installed in my PC the "Apache HTTP Server 2.0.55", the "PHP 5" and also the "MySQL 5.0". I've already edited the "PHP.INI" with the information showed below: extension=php_mysql.dll mysql.allow_persistent = On mysql.max_persistent = -1 mysql.max_links = -1 mysql.default_port = 3306 mysql.default_socket = mysql.default_host = localhost mysql.default_user = root mysql.default_password = But I couldn't make the PHP code works and it shows me the next message: "Access denied for user 'SYSTEM'@'localhost' (using password: NO). The parameters of my connection are: $link = mysql_connect('localhost', 'root', 'Demo'); I've also tried through DOS command with: "MySQL -uroot -pDemo -hlocalhost" and it works with no problem. My PC's OS is: "Windows 2000 Pro SP 4". I'd like recieving some help about this and tell me what's happening or what else it needs? Thank you very much... Jeremy David
