Almost seven years later, a big big thanks to jay at fudge dot org for his post on using getlastmod() instead of filemtime in included files. When called in an included file, <?php filemtime($PHP_SELF); ?> returns 0 in all circumstances (the Unix Epoch, January 1 1970 00:00:00 GMT) instead of an error or FALSE. ---- Server IP: 216.194.113.175 Probable Submitter: 216.250.243.86 ---- X-Spam-Status: No, hits=3.1 required=5.0 tests=DATE_MISSING,FROM_NO_LOWER autolearn=no version=2.64 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.filemtime.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/note/edit/63735 Del: integrated -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63735/integrated Del: useless -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63735/useless Del: bad code -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63735/bad+code Del: spam -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63735/spam Del: non-english -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63735/non-english Del: in docs -- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63735/in+docs Del: other reasons-- http://master.php.net/note/delete/63735 Reject -- http://master.php.net/note/reject/63735 Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
