Hi Bobby! The guidelines cover the job pretty much, except they are missing the paragraph user notes are _not_ a script library. Apart from that, just use your common-sense to filter out the bad notes from the good once. From time-to-time you see *really* good note, feel free to add them to the documentation itself if you can. Its mostly just deleting/rejecting notes, but you have karma for phpdoc so you should familiarize yourself on how things are done there. Having cvs account also means you can now reply to bug reports (close/ask for feedback/bogus..), so when you get bored have a look at http://bugs.php.net/search.php?search_for=&boolean=0&limit=All&order_by=status&direction=ASC&cmd=display&status=Open&bug_type%5B%5D=Documentation+problem&php_os=&phpver=&assign=&author_email=&bug_age=0 and "go nuts" ;) Having said that, Ill bet your first two commits will make most of us go "wtf?", which is OK, we've all been there. The only harm is that the translators will hate your guts for a few days ;) I had no idea where you are from, or if you want to help the doc team out even, but I took the liberty of getting you karma (from Derick) for all phpdoc modules (english and all the translations) in case you later on wanted to help out. Don't really have any other pointers at the moment, you know about #php.doc @ EFnet so.. I think it pretty much covers it. Ouh. One more thing: *always* hit the "reply-to-all" button ;) -Hannes On 9/5/06, Bobby Matthis <bobby.matthis@gmail.com> wrote:
Hello Hannes, Thank you very much for the welcome! Very kind of you. I am very grateful to you and Philip for your time on IRC. Philip helped me get signed up and setup right away. I am so appreciative. I have read the User Note Guidelines (http://doc.php.net/php/dochowto/chapter-user-notes.php) through and through, but is there any additional advice you have for me. I know you spend so much time working on this - don't want to let you (or any of the others) down. Regards, Bobby On 9/5/06, Hannes Magnusson <hannes.magnusson@gmail.com> wrote: Hello Bobby!
